Title: Previdência Pública e Eqüidade Intergeracional
Abstract: The paper concerns the intergenerational aspects of the social security, in view of the existence of resource transfers from the general budget to the social security budget and vice-versa. Taking as a point of reference an the economic analysis of social security, based on the public goods theory, the paper concludes that the existence of two distinct social pacts ? concerning the general budget and the social security ? provides an additional perspective to the traditional discussion of intergenerational justice in social security.
